Offer AUSD Conversions Directly in Your App

Allow your customers to convert between AUSD and other stablecoins using the Via API. Earn more on your idle stablecoin balances.

Agora

Example conversion of 2 USDC to AUSD on Monad. Your customer enters an amount, receives a quote, approves USDC in their wallet, then confirms the conversion in their wallet until it completes. Your customer’s wallet signs and submits each step directly with the provider’s onchain protocol. Agora does not take part in the transaction.

Operate with AUSD

Today, getting your customers into AUSD means sending them to another app to convert. Every redirect introduces a chance they churn.

Bar chart of AUSD cumulative yield compared to USDC cumulative yield by month over one year, from January to the following January. AUSD grows by $25,000 each month, from $10.0M to $10.3M, while USDC stays flat at $10.0M.

Our new Via API closes that gap. You craft the experience, we pull together onchain networks: customers move into AUSD directly within your app. You can now maximize revenue on the stablecoins on your platform.

What’s live now

We’re live with same-chain conversions between USDC, USDT, and AUSD on Ethereum and Monad, powered by a new Quotes API and updates to our Transactions API.

Every conversion is non-custodial: your customer’s own wallet signs and submits the onchain steps directly, so funds move straight from their wallet through the provider’s onchain protocol. These providers are responsible for generating quotes and orchestrating their fulfillment: Agora is not part of transaction execution.

How conversions work

Conversion flow: as a KYB-approved Agora customer, you get an API key and session token, your app requests a quote and status from the Agora API, which gets quotes and status from the provider API, and your customer’s wallet funds the transaction onchain with the provider and receives AUSD, or a refund, back to the same wallet

To get started, you’ll need a KYB-approved Agora organization and an API key authorized for quotes, which you can create in the Agora dashboard. Exchange the key for a short-lived session JWT with POST /v0/auth/token, then send that JWT on each request. Converting a balance into AUSD is three steps: quote, execute, and check status.

Here’s a quick overview based on our Quickstart:

1. Request a quote

bash
curl https://api.agora.finance/v0/quotes \
  -H "Authorization: Bearer $SESSION_JWT" \
  -H "Content-Type: application/json" \
  -d '{
    "sender": {
      "kind": "wallet",
      "address": "0xd8dA...",
      "chain": "ethereum",
      "currency": "usdc"
    },
    "receiver": {
      "kind": "wallet",
      "address": "0xd8dA...",
      "chain": "ethereum",
      "currency": "ausd"
    },
    "senderAmount": "10.00"
  }'

The response includes one quote per provider that returned a route. Each includes fee details and a list of onchain execution steps required to fill the quote.

2. Execute the quote

There’s no API call here. Your customer’s own wallet signs and submits those steps directly, so funds move straight from their wallet to the provider’s. Typically, this requires granting an allowance to the quote provider’s contract and initiating the deposit transaction. The deposit must land onchain within 180 seconds of the quote being priced, or the quote expires.

3. Check its status

bash
curl https://api.agora.finance/v0/transactions/{txnId} \
  -H "Authorization: Bearer $SESSION_JWT"

Transactions settle atomically or asynchronously depending on how the quote is executed, which is based on the quote request and your organization settings. The transaction returns a 404 until the deposit is seen onchain, so keep polling instead of requesting a new quote. Once it appears, poll GET /v0/transactions/{txnId} until it settles; see the Overview for the full state diagram and every execution step.

One integration, three steps, no detour

That’s the whole integration: your customers move into AUSD without leaving your product, and you keep the relationship the whole way through. Start with the Quickstart, or contact our team to get API access. For questions or feedback, reach us on X at @withAUSD or on LinkedIn.
