Agora Rewards pays you on the AUSD your organization holds across its registered addresses. Self-Serve Rewards brings the whole program into the Agora Platform: what you have earned, the rate you earn it at, the tier you are in, every payout we have made to you, and the address each payout lands in.
About the Agora Platform
We built the Agora Platform to provide you with a consolidated interface for all of your interactions with Agora. It’s a one-stop-shop to integrate AUSD into your business including: minting and redeeming AUSD (with fiat and stablecoins), managing addresses, setting up wallets, configuring permissions, and managing API keys.
Why we built Self-Serve Rewards
We designed rewards to drive value to our customers. We believe you should always know exactly what’s earning rewards and where your payouts go. For a while that clarity depended on our team working directly with you, but self-serve rewards hands that control back to you. Track your rewards addresses, set your payout destination, and follow every payout in a single screen.
What we built
The rewards view on the Agora Platform displays the address your rewards are paid to, the total AUSD you have earned to date, and your current rate. You can see what growing your balance is worth before you grow it.
Every rewards payment you’ve received in your account is viewable, with its amount, date, and the address it landed in, filterable by network and account.
We have purposefully built this to be a self-serve functionality. You can manage your payout destination yourself at any point in time, and this automatically updates at your next payout. Pick any address your organization has registered with Agora and your rewards will be routed there. A change in payout address does not affect your rewards accruals, so a switch never costs you any rewards or payments.
Your rewards accrue daily without any lockups or balance minimums.
What it took to get here
We built a first-class rate model that our operations tooling and the Platform both read from, so the rate you see is the rate we pay you. We also split rewards tracking and rewards payouts into separate entitlements on each address, approved independently. That separation is what lets you propose a new payout destination without interrupting the one already in effect.
