At American Express, Matthew spent five years working with businesses to upgrade purchasing, expense, and commercial payment programs, building a close understanding of payments economics and working capital. He went on to lead global enterprise go-to-market for Coupa Pay, partnering with Fortune 500 finance organizations on cross-border payments, virtual cards, treasury, and embedded financial services.

Matthew then built and led the enterprise revenue motion at Airbase through one of the company’s fastest growth periods, staying on through its $325 million acquisition by Paylocity. Most recently, he served as Vice President of Sales at Emburse, leading North American SMB and Mid-Market sales for the company’s expense, travel, AP, and spend management platform.

“Matthew knows how to build high-performing teams and operating models that scale with ambitious businesses. Matthew has spent his career selling into the finance and treasury teams at the world’s largest businesses. The experience he brings is exactly what we need as more enterprises move their payments and treasury operations onto Agora,” Nick van Eck, CEO and Co-Founder

Matthew on joining Agora

“I’ve spent my career helping finance organizations adopt technology that changes how they operate. Agora is doing that at a bigger scale than I’ve seen before, and I couldn’t be more energized to help bring that to customers around the world.” Matthew Yehle

Matthew joins Agora as the company scales its enterprise platform, helping businesses move money globally and earn on every dollar at rest.

The greatest opportunities lie where systems are broken — moving money is no exception.
