An embedded wallet is a self-custodial wallet you create in the Agora Platform through Agora’s partnership with Turnkey that you control on behalf of your organization. You sign into your Agora account, create a wallet, and its address is automatically registered with Agora, ready to mint and redeem AUSD.
About the Agora Platform
We built the Agora Platform to provide you with a consolidated interface for all of your actions with Agora. It is a one-stop-shop to mint and redeem AUSD (both with fiat and stablecoins), access instant liquidity, manage your organization’s addresses, and configure permissions and API keys.
Now you can also create an embedded wallet directly in the Platform to manage your organization’s funds, self-custodied by you.
Why we built embedded wallets
Until now, interacting with the Agora Platform meant bringing your own wallet: pick a provider, install an extension, secure a seed phrase, then come back and register the address with us.
Most businesses moving to stablecoins should not require a crypto team. An embedded wallet puts it all in one place: account, wallet, USD in, stablecoins out, treasury. Time from onboarding to a funded counterparty drops from weeks to a session: open an account, create a wallet, mint, transact, all on the Agora Platform.
What we built
Creating a wallet happens entirely inside the Agora Platform: acknowledge self-custody, verify your Agora email, add a passkey, and set up recovery for your wallet. The address then appears under Blockchain Addresses and works exactly like one you registered yourself.
What you can do today:
- Your organization’s wallet, created and held by an authorized signer on your team.
- One EVM address across six networks: Arbitrum, Avalanche, Base, Ethereum, Monad, and Polygon PoS.
- Balances and recent transfers on each of those networks.
- Sending native assets and ERC-20 tokens without leaving the Platform.
- Role-based access: only teammates with the right role can create or use the wallet, the same as every other action that moves money. See our RBAC post to set up role-based access control for your organization.
- Activity export: download your wallet’s activity as CSV, for your own reconciliation and reporting.
